The rules of the game, in plain words

Effective 27 October 2026.

These terms are between you and Techbeaver IT Systems Ltd ("we"), and cover the Blocks & Burrows app and this website. By playing, you agree to them. If you do not, please do not use the app.

Playing

We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to play Blocks & Burrows on devices you own. The game, its levels, characters, art, music and names belong to us. You may not copy the app, sell it, reverse-engineer it beyond what the law allows, or use it to harm other players or our service.

Your account

The app creates an anonymous account on first launch. Your pet, coins and settings live on your phone, so deleting the app or losing the phone loses them. You are responsible for what happens on your account. One person, one account in the leagues.

Names

Your display name is shown to other players. Choose one that is not abusive, misleading, or someone else's. We may change or reset a name that breaks this rule.

Fair play

Every ranked run is replayed on our servers and counts only if it checks out. Scores produced by modified apps, automation or exploits are removed, and we may close the account that sent them. While the game is new, league groups are topped up with computer rivals, marked as such in the group.

Coins, the Burrow Pass and ads

Coins and food are in-game items with no cash value; they cannot be exchanged, transferred or refunded by us. In-app purchases are sold by Google through Google Play or by Apple through the App Store under their terms, and refunds are handled by them. The Burrow Pass renews until you cancel it in your Google Play or App Store subscriptions; a free trial, where offered, turns into a paid subscription unless you cancel before it ends. The free version shows ads; videos for rewards are always your choice.

Availability

We work hard to keep the game, leagues and the Daily Burrow running, but they are provided "as is". We may change, pause or stop features, levels or the service, and we may close accounts that break these terms.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from the game, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights that the law gives you as a consumer.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms; the date above will change and the app will tell you if the change matters. These terms are governed by the laws of the country in which Techbeaver IT Systems Ltd is established, without affecting your consumer rights where you live. Questions go to [email protected] .
